Once in the main courtyard, we walk up the righthand side of the chateau till we get to a large grey door. Behind it is L’Appartement, an entire accommodation within the Château.  

We enter a large, high-ceilinged room: a living and dining room. The large windows, overlooking the park, let in soft light. It includes a sitting area with a flatscreen TV, and dining area that can seat four. The first door leads to a bedroom with a double bed.

A second reveals a fully equipped kitchen: tea, coffee, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc. A short corridor leads to a third door: a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine.

Next, a spiral staircase leads to a second mezzanine bedroom. This has a double bed and a fold-out bench, ideal for a child.

The apartment has access to free and unlimited wifi, and is a non-smoking space.
