Gerbaude 2025: Château de l’Hospital Hosts Its First Harvest Festival

For the very first time, Château de l’Hospital, located in the heart of Graves in Portets, is organizing the Gerbaude, the traditional harvest festival. Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 6:00 pm for an unforgettable evening among the vines, featuring a festive open-fire barbecue and the warm glow of string lights.

A first at Château de l’Hospital
Deeply rooted in winegrowing tradition, the Gerbaude marks the end of the harvest. This year, we are reviving this celebration by opening it to the public for the very first time at our estate. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover our organic vineyard and share in the convivial spirit that defines the Graves appellation.

An open-fire barbecue in the vineyard
As night falls, the vineyard will be lit with string lights, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Around a large open-fire grill, guests will be able to choose between two delicious options: grilled prawns, or succulent duck breast both accompanied by roasted vegetables and grenaille teapot. For kids, we propose you a menu with chicken instead.

The menu is priced at €24, including:
● one glass of wine,
● and a dessert: the local specialty “dunes blanches”.

A gourmet and festive experience, enhanced by our organic, rosé, red and white Graves wines.
