S'il y a une chose qui distingue les grands vins de Bordeaux des autres r\u00e9gions viticoles du monde, c'est sans aucun doute l'art de l'assemblage.<\/span><\/p>

D\u00e8s le Moyen \u00c2ge, les vignerons ont compris qu'aucune vari\u00e9t\u00e9 ne se comportait exactement de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re d'une ann\u00e9e sur l'autre. Certaines r\u00e9sistaient mieux aux fortes chaleurs, d'autres apportaient davantage de fra\u00eecheur, tandis que certaines r\u00e9v\u00e9laient une structure exceptionnelle.<\/span><\/p>

Plut\u00f4t que de miser sur un seul c\u00e9page, ils ont choisi de les assembler afin d'obtenir un vin plus harmonieux, plus complexe et plus constant au fil des mill\u00e9simes.<\/span><\/p>

Aujourd'hui encore, cette philosophie est au c\u0153ur de l'identit\u00e9 des vins de Bordeaux.<\/span><\/p>

Quatre c\u00e9pages, quatre personnalit\u00e9s<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Le Ch\u00e2teau de l'Hospital Rouge est \u00e9labor\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de quatre c\u00e9pages embl\u00e9matiques de Bordeaux :<\/span><\/p>

  • 60 % Merlot,<\/span><\/strong>qui apporte la rondeur, la gourmandise et des ar\u00f4mes g\u00e9n\u00e9reux de fruits rouges m\u00fbrs.<\/span><\/li>
  • 30% Cabernet Sauvignon<\/span><\/strong>, v\u00e9ritable colonne vert\u00e9brale du vin, qui lui offre structure, profondeur et potentiel de garde.<\/span><\/li>
  • 5 % Petit Verdot<\/span><\/strong>, utilis\u00e9 comme une \u00e9pice en cuisine, qui vient renforcer la couleur et apporter des notes d\u00e9licatement poivr\u00e9es.<\/span><\/li>
  • 5% Malbec<\/span><\/strong>, c\u00e9page historique du Bordelais, qui ajoute intensit\u00e9, fra\u00eecheur et une belle complexit\u00e9 aromatique.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Pris s\u00e9par\u00e9ment, chacun poss\u00e8de son propre caract\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>

    Ensemble, ils cr\u00e9ent un \u00e9quilibre que l'on ne pourrait obtenir autrement.<\/span><\/p>

    Chaque c\u00e9page joue sa propre partition, mais c'est leur harmonie qui fait na\u00eetre l'\u00e9motion.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Au Ch\u00e2teau de l'Hospital, chaque vari\u00e9t\u00e9 est r\u00e9colt\u00e9e \u00e0 son optimum de maturit\u00e9, vinifi\u00e9e s\u00e9par\u00e9ment puis \u00e9lev\u00e9e individuellement en barriques de 300 litres pendant douze mois.<\/span><\/p>

    Cette approche permet de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler pleinement la personnalit\u00e9 de chaque c\u00e9page avant le travail d'assemblage. Ce n'est qu'\u00e0 cette \u00e9tape que le ma\u00eetre de chai compose l'\u00e9quilibre final, recherchant la juste expression du terroir et du mill\u00e9sime.<\/span><\/p>

    L'assemblage n'est donc pas une simple op\u00e9ration technique : c'est un v\u00e9ritable travail d'interpr\u00e9tation, o\u00f9 chaque d\u00e9cision influence le style du vin.<\/span><\/p>

    Cultiv\u00e9es sur l\u2019ensemble du vignoble, les vignes du Ch\u00e2teau de l'Hospital puisent leurs racines dans les c\u00e9l\u00e8bres sols de graves qui ont donn\u00e9 leur nom \u00e0 l'appellation.<\/span><\/p>

    Ces galets, d\u00e9pos\u00e9s il y a des milliers d'ann\u00e9es par la Garonne, offrent un drainage naturel exceptionnel tout en restituant progressivement la chaleur accumul\u00e9e durant la journ\u00e9e.
