  • 5% Petit Verdot<\/span><\/strong>, used much like a spice in cooking, adding colour, complexity and delicate peppery notes.<\/span><\/li>

    At Ch\u00e2teau de l’Hospital, each variety is harvested at optimum ripeness, vinified separately, and aged individually in 300-litre French oak barrels for twelve months.     Across the estate, the vines are deeply rooted in the famous gravel soils that gave the Graves appellation its name.<\/span><\/p>

    These gravelly soils, deposited thousands of years ago by the Garonne River, provide exceptional natural drainage while gradually releasing the heat absorbed during the day. This allows the grapes to ripen evenly while preserving freshness and balance.<\/span><\/p>
